Description

During the London Conference of 1947, the allies finally broke with each other when USA and the Soviets couldn't agree on anything anymore. With the help of the western allies, Germany became a independent country again in May 1949, called BRD (Bundesrepublik Deutschland). It was still under strong observance, with many destroyed cities and consisted mostly of female citizen and children due to gigantic amounts of men being dead or in prison camps.
Meanwhile, in Octobre 1949, the soviets made "their" part of Germany into the DDR (Deutsche Demokratische Republik), bringing a new country in the world. DDR was in a simliar condition then BRD, but not under observation through the soviets, it was rather that the soviets had their men in the goverment and changed the main constitutions in advance to their advantage, so that DDR was totally harmless and at their command (for example did DDR have no permission to contact other countries on its own, thus rendering it isolated without Soviet Union).

Most germans were probably very scared (in the beginning) when they heard of coming under the soviets rule, because the soviets were considered the most cruel and brutal of all allies. It was so extreme, that some germans actually risked of being shot dead during the conquer of the allies, just to get close enough to the west to not meet any soviet soldiers.
When the soviets and the DDR grew strong together in 1951, most east germans actually lost that fear until they realized just how strong the restrictions and controls in their country would be. The increasing brutality at the borders also made many citizen extremly nervous and suspicious. But by that time it had already been pretty much too late until the reunion in 1989 (opening of the borders) and 1991 (reunion of BRD and DDR).

So I intruduce DDR here.
I think, thats called "OC" in the fandom?
Anyway, I call him Klaus Wittenburg (Klaus was a very popular first name in the DDR and Wittenburg was a common family name in both the Soviet Union and North-East-Germany).

He will wear Russias scarf and has blue eyes with a violet tint. Since he only gets 40 years old (which is close to nothing for a country), he will remain a child like Sealand and TRNC despite being acknowledged by pretty much everyone as a state.

His personality is kind of awkward. He is mainly a calm and nice child that is very fond of both BRD and Russia, but usually sticks with Russia, since he isn't allowed to see BRD often. When Russia forbids him to see BRD at all, he turns more and more paranoid, fearing that everyone might be a traitor. He finally develops a Dissociative identity disorder, with one personality wanting to tell Russia everything that he finds weird while the other one is actually trying to keep secrets. But he comes to the final conclusion, that Russia is not taking the right desicions and that he wants to grow up with BRD instead of under Russias care. By protest and strikes, he first makes Russia extremly angry, but Russia finally gives in and allows the brothers to see each other again. A year later, Russia looses interest in DDR and lets him finally go.

His hobbies are camping, dancing and swimming. The latter preferably naked.
He works really hard despite being paid poorly for it and his biggest dream - next to meeting his big brother BRD - is owning a car.
His most favorite dishes are Soljanka and a dessert called Schwedeneisbecher ("swedish ice cream"; it consists of vanilla ice cream, whipped cream, advocaat and apple sauce. The irony is that advocaat is a dutch liquor and that the ice cream has actually nothing to do with Sweden, the name is supposed to come from the olympia 1952, where Sweden won over BRD Ice Hockey and where DDRs boss was so happy about this that he called his favorite ice cream after Sweden).
His interests are everything from the west, so whenever BRD is able to slip him a music tape, a fashion magazine or simliar, he is overflowing with excitement.

Family:
BRD (Germany) - big brother
Russia - Foster/Adoptive parent

Random rant:
Totally honest?
I love Klaus.
He is only a few hours old (in my head), but I have already so many ideas for making pictures about him.
And isn't he a cutie? Wait till you see him when he is 20 and thus learned to walk.
He only needs to watch out for Russia, Russia hates seeing DDR walking around alone.
Overprotective parents are overprotective, always watching after their kid :iconceilingrussiaderpplz:
